Two new factories worth US$ 11.3m to be built in Kampong Speu and Svay Rieng very soon

The Board of Investment of Cambodia of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has decided to register two companies to build two large factories with an investment of US$ 11.3 million, which will create a total of 1,289 jobs for people living in Svay Rieng and Sihanoukville.

This is according to the publication of the CDC on September 28, 2023.

The seven companies are as follows:

The first firm is “TW LIGHTS CO., LTD” which will invest US$5.8 million to establish a factory to produce all kinds of light bulbs, located in Otapoung village, Rokar Koh commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province and can create 740 jobs.

The second firm is “G.U INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.” Which will invest US$ 5.5 million to establish a factory to produce Christmas trees, Christmas tree decorations, and all kinds of decorative lamps, which is in the Manhattan Svay Rieng Special Economic Zone, Svay Rieng Province, and can create 549 jobs.
