In the first eight months, the trade volume (Cambodia-Thailand) reached US$ 2.58b

In the first eight months of 2023, the trade volume between Cambodia and Thailand amounted to 2.58 billion US dollars, down 19.9% compared to the same period last year. This is according to the report of the General Department of Customs and Excise.

According to the report, Cambodia exported US$ 646 million worth of goods to Thailand, up 5.4 percent year on year, while imports from Thailand fell 25.8 percent year on year US$ 1.938 million.

The main exports to Thailand include textiles, agricultural products, gems, raw materials, and semi-finished products.

Most of the goods imported from Thailand to Cambodia are fish, meat, vegetables, cars, organic fertilizers, food, and construction materials.
