Construction of Road 76, which collapsed in Mondulkiri, has reached 45%
The project to build a 425-meter-long, 12-meter-wide road connecting Road 76, which collapsed in August, is 45% complete. This is according to the Mondulkiri Provincial Administration on October 6, 2023.
This project is under construction by the Department of Public Works and Transport which collapsed (O’Ngei point PK 94 + 080 to PK 94 + 150) in Andong Kraloeng village, Sen Monorom commune, Oreang district, Mondulkiri province. (Read more)
It should be noted that the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has requested an advance of 1 billion riels from the Ministry of Economy and Finance to repair the collapsed road.
Separately, regarding the project to build and improve National Road No. 76 from Snuol district, Kratie province to Mondulkiri province, the state is also ready to request the withdrawal of 6 billion million Riels from the Ministry of Economy and Finance to build this road in 2024. (Read more)
