Cambodia Gov’t agrees to establish Cambodian Embassy in Pakistan

Cambodia has agreed to establish the Cambodian Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at the request of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Cambodia. This is according to the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Cambodia on October 4, 2023.

During the meeting, the HE Ambassador paid an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and requested the establishment of the Cambodian Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to facilitate various mechanisms, especially to serve the trade sector. And people-to-people relationships.

In response, the President agreed to the proposal to establish a Cambodian Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in line with what he had previously agreed to.

It should be noted that Cambodia-Pakistan has good cooperation in many fields, including trade, which is noted through the possibility of establishing a Joint Trade Committee (Joint Trade Committee), which is a good mechanism to Expand cooperation in this field.
